Dr. Glorimar Llavona, DMD
Dr. Llavona was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She completed her undergraduate studies from the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus, with a Bachelor degree in Biology obtained high honors. She continued her studies in the University of Puerto Rico, Recinto de Ciencias Medicas, Dental School and graduated in 2005 Cum Laude. Committed to learn new technologies in the Dental Field she decided to move to Florida and complete a two year training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University, and in 2009 she culminated studies in Endodontics from Nova.
Her passion for learning and excelling has continued by becoming a member of the American Dental Association , American Association in Endodontics and the American Association in Aesthetic. She has mastered the use of a Dental Operating Microscope, ultrasonics and rotary instrumentation, by also providing her patients Botox and Dermafillers treatments.
She is currently married to Dr. Francisco Oliver since 2005 and nurture three beautiful children. Together they own two state of the art dental practices were is noticeable their passion and love to help others in all their dental needs.
Dr. Francisco L. Oliver, DMD
Dr. Oliver graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Dental School in 2004, and from 2004-2005, completed his General Practice Residency. He also attended Nora Southwestern University with an advanced education in general dentistry from 2005-2006, as well as the Periodontal Program from 2006-2009. He graduated from dental school in 2004, and the Periodontal Program in 2009. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico at the Rio Piedras Campus.
Dr. Oliver continues his education every two years, and has been practicing in the area since 2008. He is a member of the ADA. Academy of Periodontology, and the American Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Jessica Papir, DMD
Providing the most advanced dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere are the priorities of Jessica Papir, D.M.D. Dr. Papir is among the most accomplished and regarded general dentists in Broward. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing the profession’s leading dental care while utilizing new technology applied to traditional best practices.
Dr. Papir has been a life-long resident of South Florida, practicing in Miami-Dade and Broward for 15 years. She is a graduate of Florida State University and earned her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from University of Florida. Dr. Papir then completed a General Practice Residency at the Medical College of New York. After graduation, she returned to South Florida to practice in her community.
Dr. Papir is a member of the American Dental Association, and the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is married, with two children, and enjoys yoga.
Michelle Cardona
Office Manager
Michelle has over 7 years administrative experience in office management and marketing. She is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. She has exceptional knowledge with insurance companies and polices. Thus being able to offer patients a complete understanding of their treatment and insurance benefits. She has gained extensive experience while working at Dental Specialists.
Leslie Victoria
Certified Assistant
Leslie was born in Colombia where she studied Finance and International Business. In 2008 she decided to move to the United States to pursue her career, but in 2011 she had a change of heart and fell in love with dentistry. She was offered an opportunity to study dental assisting in South Florida Dental. She has been working along side Dr. Oliver and Dr. Llavona since 2013. She loves her job and looks forward to seeing all the patients smile.
Bianca Chong
Registered Hygienist
Bianca is one of our dental hygienists who graduated at Broward College and has both licenses in dental hygiene and assisting. Bianca is passionate not only about her job, but is also very hands on in educating and improving the families we serve in the various communities of South Florida. When not at work, Bianca enjoys local volunteer work as well as spending time with her family. Here at Dental specialists we are proud to be a family oriented practice and pride ourselves in giving the highest standard of care to all of our patients by staying abreast on the newest and innovate technologies dentistry has to offer. Bianca is very friendly and looks forward to expanding our dental family one smile at a time.
